Where Is Obama Getting All That Money?

Ever wonder where (and how) Barack Obama’s campaign has raised over $400 million in contributions so far? Most of it, we are told, comes from individuals donating less than $200, and is thus conveniently exempt from federal disclosure requirements.

But recent articles in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Newsweek, and Newsmax.com are raising some very disturbing questions about the sources of all this money. They suggest that Obama’s much-vaunted on-line fundraising operation has collected substantial sums from foreign nationals and from essentially anonymous sources like “Will, Good” – who listed his employer as “Loving” and his profession as “You” – despite federal laws prohibiting such practices.

Some of the foreign contributions may have originated in places like China, Iran, Iraq, the Gaza Strip, and Palestine. As the articles make clear, the Federal Election Commission is investigating these irregularities, but probably won’t have time to complete its investigation of these “irregularities” until well after the election is over.

I highly recommend reading all three of these articles, but if you have time for only one, check out Kenneth Timmerman’s report in Newsmax. It is the most comprehensive by far, but I include the other two for the benefit of those who might otherwise dismiss the Newsmax piece as mere “Republican propaganda.”

Sarah  Palin did  a  remarkable job in her Thursday, 10-2-08, TV debate against “Bozo, Lies So, Slow Joe” Biden. Sarah “winked” right through the “Inside the Beltway, political hack” crap of Biden and connected with the majority of centrist voters who are very wary and weary of wimpy Washington weasels like Biden. Her truthful plain talk, like saying that Obama and Biden want to “wave the white flag of surrender” in Iraq will resonate with millions of “Joe  six pack” and “hockey and soccer mom” citizens and, I predict, help McCain - Palin whip both Obama - Biden AND the “Lying Lamestream Media” on November 4, 2008 !

Even the Liberal Media’s Pointing to the Democrats at the Root of Our Economic Crisis

This Washington Post op-ed piece was the first — and, in my opinion, is still one of the best — in the mainstream media to tell the real story about how the Wall Street meltdown came to be.

It explains how Senate Democrats, including Chris Dodd and Barack Obama, blocked Republican efforts to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, even as they were raking in campaign contributions from Fannie, Freddie, and their employees. Since an awful lot of people still seem to blame Republicans for this mess, I am re-posting it now.

Alarming Lack of Integrity by Far Left

The disgusting socialist 700 Billion dollar bail-out was mainly caused by left-wing Democrats who wanted to “give” totally unqualified minority buyers very high risk home loans, at the expense of the honest, hard-working taxpayer!

Equally disgusting, and even more unethical, is the leftist group A C O R N - the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. The following brief poem best explains and expresses my moral outrage:

Twenty percent of profit from bail-out money,
According to some dishonest Democrat fools
Is to be used as a sweet bribe, like honey
As a Democrat voter recruitment tool!

The group buying these votes has the acronym “ACORN”
Using taxpayer money for this is corrupt!
ACORN must be stopped by our protest and scorn …
‘Cause “ACORN” is defined as a ” SMOOTH, THIN-WALLED NUT!”

Democrats on the Attack … The Revolution Stands

Obama told his supporters to go out and argue with Independents and Democrats. Tonight they do just that. Anthony Vultaggio’s guest on The New Thought Revolution is Jill Stanek of Born Alive Truth.

The organization is focused on exposing Barack Obama’s role in voting against the Born Alive  Infants Protection Act, an act which was introduced in 2001 to provide legal protection to all born babies, wanted or not, including the right to medical care. Then-state Senator Barack Obama voted against Born Alive 4 times in 3 years and was the sole senator to speak against it on the Senate floor in 2001 and 2002.

In 2002, the Federal version of Born Alive passed unanimously in the US Senate and by overwhelming voice vote in the House. The pro-abortion group NARAL even went neutral on the bill.

But In 2003, Barack Obama voted against the identical version of Born Alive in Illinois. Then, for the next 4 years he repeatedly misrepresented his vote until it was recently discovered in the IL General Assembly archives.

Seeking to attack on this subject and others, Democrats called in to the New Thought Revolution in an attempt to cloud the truth and convince revolutionaries of their rhetoric. Did it work? Listen for yourselves.

Democrat  Joe  Lieberman  and  Republican  Lindsey Graham  sponsored  a  congressional  resolution  last week (mid-September, 2008)  which  “commends  and expresses  gratitude  to  the  men  and  women  of  the United  States’  Armed  Forces  for   the  service, sacrifices,  and  heroism that  made  the  success  of the  troop  surge  in  Iraq  possible.”  This  is  a  simple statement  of  well-deserved  gratitude  that  any
American  citizen, left  or  right  politically,  can enthusiastically  support,  right ?   WRONG !

Democrats  Harry  Reid, Senate  Majority  Leader, and  Carl  Levin, Armed  Services  Chairman,  joined
to  BLOCK  A  VOTE  ON  THIS  RESOLUTION !!! WHAT  A  DISGUSTING  DENIAL  OF  REALITY, AND  WHAT  A  PRIDEFUL  DISPLAY  OF  CHEAP PARTISAN  POLITICS  BY  REID  AND  LEVIN. REID  AND  LEVIN  HAVE  PROVEN  THAT  THEY, LIKE  THEIR  MOVEON.ORG  FRIENDS,  ARE DISGUSTING  UNPATRIOTIC  DEMOCRATS.

The Democrats are hosting fundraisers galore. The latest featured Barbara Streisand singing Barack Obama’s praises (literally). Sadly, this leading lady’s not going to heal the sick donkey.

The reality is that all that’s missing from the Democrat’s circus of a campaign is the elephant. Thankfully he wised up years ago to join the Republican camp. Ever the trend-setter our elephant was joined by a host of prominent Democrats who are throwing themselves and their support squarely behind the McCain/Palin campaign.
