A recent AP report tells the story of a young man who crashed his car and fled from the scene to avoid trouble. According to the police report his judgement was impaired - allegedly - by alcohol. Interesting? Not really. But don’t touch that mousepad. It does get better. In his haste he stepped in some waste - dog waste to be precise. What he left in his wake was a trail worthy of one of Grimm’s fairy tales. No, his prints weren’t Bruno Magli’s (for those of you old enough to remember the OJ debacle), but they did lead the police straight to him. Now apparently alcohol dulls the senses more than I thought because he had NO clue as to how the police found him. My advice? Watch your step … and know when to say when.
