This week Marisa Petroro joins me as co-host of Results Driven Radio. Aside from being “Deal Girl #18″ on the hit show Deal or No Deal, this talented actress is an example of determination, dedication to her art and a fighting spirit. Diagnosed as a child with Rhabdomyosarcoma - a rare childhood cancer that affects the muscles, she is an outspoken advocate for cancer patients and survivors. Her story is so compelling it prompted Marco Ceballos, a contestant on Deal or No Deal, to donate 10% of his winnings to the organization that helped her cause - The Tomorrow’s Children Fund. Because she understands the unique challenges that stem from being first a victim, then a survivor of disease, Marisa volunteers her time to help others who have been diagnosed with cancer and are undergoing chemotherapy. Results Driven Radio is about taking action. Marisa is a beautiful example of all that can be accomplished when you pursue your dreams.
