Marisa Petroro and Anthony Interview Anabel Stenzel & Isabel Stenzel Byrnes

We’ve all got a story and its up to each of us to write it. Anabel and Isabel Stenzel were diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis as newborns. Theirs is a story about living with the reality and ill affects of their disease on a daily basis. In the interview they shared how their parents helped them to have the mental discipline to get through the countless doctor visits, treatments, hospital stays and eventually lung transplants. At 36, they’ve beaten the odds — odds that they don’t look at as they enjoy every day as it comes. My guest co-host, Marisa Petroro, is another example of the spirit of determination and hope. She turned her battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma - a rare childhood cancer that affects the muscles - into a platform from which she advocates for cancer patients and survivors.
There are so many stories of people who overcome … people who transform trials into triumph. Don’t let anyone write your story. No matter what your struggle, always have hope. And always give hope to others.
