Managing ‘Pesty’ Situations
September
25th
In the beginning of this year a story was published about a man who was trying to kill a mole by driving metal stakes into the ground. Consumed by his desire to eliminate the pest, he apparently drove the stakes deeper and deeper until he hit an electrical wire.Take my advice: don’t let the pesty things in life take over your day. Stay focused on the important tasks, those that will ultimately lead to the fulfillment of your goals. While it is easy to be consumed by our emotions, when we spend our time chasing things that aren’t important we go nowhere. Real success comes from compartmentalizing and not being ruled by our feelings. And lest you forget I’ll share the real shocker… Never make a mountain out of a molehill.
