Be True to You or Get Bit in the End

The AP put out a story about a man who got bit after putting a snake into his mouth to impress his girlfriend. Since, Adam and Eve, men having been doing things they shouldn’t - just to impress the girl. The reality is that if you can’t impress her with who you are, a snake in the mouth is not going to do it. Yes, the road to success is paved with risk. But we’re talking calculated risk, not this. Calculated risk comes from a thorough evaluation of the risk/reward equation. And in the end you have to be yourself. Take risks on things that interest you and always stay true to who you are.Frankly, if your lady is impressed with a snake in the mouth, you probably don’t want to be with her. And if success in business or life requires you to be someone you’re not, it will probably come back to bite you.
